Take a hard look at yourself to determine if you’re a good fit-there are many great apprenticeships out there if this one is not for you. This will be a key consideration in our review process. To this end, we give you the opportunity on the application to share how you will bring a diverse perspective to the apprenticeship. One way we can grow is by including more teammates who challenge our worldviews and ways of thinking. You have to be willing to check your ego at the door and do what it takes to improve. Having a strong desire for knowledge is one thing-being willing to hear authentic, constructive criticism (and do something about it) is another. To be successful in a career doing web stuff, you have to be continually learning-you have to be hungry for knowledge. HungerĪpplicants who make it to the final interview round all have a tremendous hunger to learn, and they back it up with their own experimentation. We don’t expect you to have mastered your craft, but a fluency in design concepts like typography, hierarchy, and layout is definitely preferred-whether you’ve used them for the web or another medium. Self-initiated projects are always a great way to show that you love the work you do.
